TheiPhone 5's A6 may well be alot of an Apple creation than previous A series chips, as documented in an updated post best nexus 4 case by review website Anandtech.
Like Qualcomm, Apple is incorporating more like its in-house expertise into chips. And therefore means it's getting farther away from pure ARM designs. To illustrate, the new design from U.K.-based ARM could be the Cortex A15, which Texas case for Nexus 4 Leather Case nexus 4 Instruments is applying later on chips.
But Apple isn't going that route, per Anandtech. And this means past Apple buyouts of chip design houses PA Semi and Intrinsity are bearing fruit.

But within post on Saturday, Anandtech said this is not situation.
"Based over many digging within the last day or two, and conversations with right people, I've confirmed that Apple's A6 [chip] conditional on Apple's own ARM based CPU core but not the Cortex A15," wrote Anand Shimpi.
And this probably is unappealing news for Intel. If Apple could make increasingly powerful A sequence processors, a few might theoretically supply for aMacBook Air-style product.
But can be. Intel's next chip, nexus 4 bumper codenamed "Haswell," could well be its most power-efficient mainstream chip until now and in many cases good for future MacBooks.
